Big Switch rolls out updated versions of its Big Cloud and Big Monitoring Fabric product lines, including doubling the number of leaf switches it can support. Juniper Networks makes its bid in the SD-WAN market with its Cloud-Enabled Branch release.

HPE was awarded $3 billion by a California jury over a breach of contract dispute with Oracle, and Cisco spends $293 million to acquire CloudLock, a security company.

Mellanox rolls out a new 100Gig network adapter for cloud and NFV workloads, Amazon and Google shrug off Brexit worries, and a report chases rumors that Microsoft tried to buy Docker for $4 billion.
