@techkid, @mahesh: For some reason they can’t or won’t put a player on the episode page. I was just looking at show 11 from 2010 and the same complaint is in the comments there! They don’t seem to get that not every listener is clicking through to iTunes, or that they might want to listen to one show without subscribing. Its a shame because they’re great shows.

Vincent, there is a player embedded at the bottom of the episode page, and every page in which there is an audio file component. We do “get it”, as we have a lot of click-thrus from folks that play via the web page. I use it myself from time to time.

The embedded audio player is not a new feature, and people use it regularly. In this case, there was a publishing error when this show first hit, but the issue was corrected as soon as we realized it.

I see the player now as well. Now that I have heard a few episodes I have subscribed in the new iOS Podcasts app. Thank you.

    Great show.

Gerald tried not to talk about Pilot and Shark appliance. I think the networking community don’t know what a gem they are!

I use them almost daily, and both products save me ton of time.

I use the Shark appliance to capture lots of traffic, then I use Pilot to analyse the capture. I drill down to what I am looking for and then send the packets to wireshark.

Pilot can deal with really large files at a very high speed. Impressive work!
