Show 04 – the Interview Process

Topic 1 – Eman Conde has setup new options for Cisco CCIE training. CCIE Flyter

Topic 2- USB Console ports on new ISR routers. Cisco CCO Documentation. Most of us aren’t familiar with ISB consoles and we look at what we think.

Topic 3 – Link to TCL Whitepaper on TCL Hacking and obfuscation.

Topic 4 – Apple’s iPad and it’s uses in an engineering / study / working situation.

Topic 5 – The Interview Process. Greg always says “It’s important to love yourself more than the company”, which is to say that sooner or later, the company won’t fit you, or you won’t fit the job or the people and it’s time to move on. So here are some tips on how to interview for a Networking position.

We have asked Marko to be a candidate for a job interview with the Pushers as the “Interviewers”. After some interview questions, we then deconstruct his answers and look at how his responses would have affected his chances. We look at answering technology and personal questions. And, of course, war stories of our own interviews over time.

    Hi

Your pervious show was very nice special the part when you simulate an interview
I would love to encourage you to make interview show part 2 and here are some ideas
As I think most of the CCIE's have some kind of interview skills but I m sure that most of them don’t have the interview skills if it goes far more then the technical part for example
Your next show can focus in two points

1-Non native English speaker how applying for job outside their region with different business culture, different language, ….

2- A job interview focusing in business management or finical experience, you can simulate job interview for a technical managerial business job which required more than technical knowledge

As to usb cable lengths, you can get usb cable extenders that are fairly long. these extender cables have built in, one port, unpowered usb hubs, to get around certain length restrictions. You can daisy chain these together since they include usb hubs, so that you can get around maximum length restrictions. Not as easy as a single cable solution I agree, but it is a pretty good solution if you need 100ft or so, you can get 4 of these extenders.

as to the sim card issue, if you're an existing customer with one of these companies (or know someone who is), simply tell them your existing sim card is broken, and they'll sell you a new one. you should be able to activate this sim card to your existing or new service
