If you don’t know how to program, you’re probably going to be out of a job. That message has been trickling into the networking industry recently as talk about automation, orchestration, and software-defined everything has ramped up. But is it true? And just what does programming mean in a networking context?
We’ve invited a few guests with some strong opinions to dig into this topic, break it down, and, we hope, provide a more clear picture of what’s happening in networking, where it’s going, and what kind of skillsets are going to be valuable over the next decade.
Joining us are Russ White, a frequent Packet Pushers guest and a network architect at LinkedIn. We’ll also be hearing from Steve Hood, a network engineer, and Matt Oswalt, a software engineer with a strong networking background.
