    Greg – you mentioned (@32:00 in) that one cannot deploy a Cisco ASA firewall in AWS.

    You may have missed the announcement earlier this year that you can indeed deploy a virtual ASA (ASAv) in Amazon Web Services.

    This was introduced in ASA software version 9.4(1.200). Here is a link to the release notes: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/asa/asa94/release/notes/asarn94.html#98175

      No I wasn’t aware of this but will starting reading up on this. Thanks!

      I’m continuing to have a big struggle to find out what Cisco is doing since they don’t have a feed or method to locate product announcements, I have to hear about them piecemeal and tracking dozens of different sources. So I do miss a lot of stuff.
