People says that experience matters but for new technology where can you get that experience ?
What is the reality of deploying an SD-WAN ? What are the traps, tricks and stumbles that you need to look for ? What lessons can be learned and what could be done differently if you could do it again ?
From the Jan 16th to 20th, Viptela is hosting FutureWAN’17, a virtual summit on Enterprise Grade SD-WAN. There are more than a dozen sessions covering a wide spectrum of the usual formats – “the vendor pitch”, “the analyst says”, “what vendor partners can do”, “product scenarios” and so on. You know the drill, each webinar style has information for a different audience and the Virtual Summit will cover all of them.
The event is about education. I looked over the content and I think the focus is much more on the technology and knowledge rather than “pitch and sell”. We all loathe webinars that attempt to drive sales because we all know that life doesn’t work that way, right ? Its a long process to get new projects off the ground, its doesn’t happen with 30 minute overview in a web browser.
And a virtual summit means that you get the best speakers and content without having to get funding to travel from the boss and you can choose which sessions suits you – tech, analyst, vendor or ecosystem. And you can go home at 5pm to hug your favourite thing (wife, beer, pet, kids etc).
Register for Virtual Summit Panel discussion that Packet Pushers is hosting on what really happens in SD-WAN deployments with the Packet Pushers podcast style instead of stuffy, boring webinars.
