Sponsorship & Advertising Opportunities
The Packet Pushers Podcast Network has tens of thousands of subscribers from all over the world. They listen to some or all of our five different channels. Our most popular shows reach 20K downloads per episode. Over 16M episodes have been downloaded from our network since our launch in 2010, and around 15K are downloaded every day.
About Packet Pushers Podcasts
Podcasting creates a deeply connected, engaged audience, because of the personal attachment listeners form with the hosts. Packet Pushers hosts are highly technical with a focus on IT practitioners, helping our listeners to stay connected and loyal.
Our audience enjoys hearing about new products and technology in an open forum focused on practical details. Listeners tell us our style makes them feel like they are “in the room.”
Recent clients include Alcatel-Lucent/Nokia, Anuta, Apstra, Aryaka, Avi Networks, Big Switch, Cambium, Citrix, CloudGenix, Connection, cPacket, Cumulus, ExtraHop, Firebind, Imperva, INE, Ixia, Linux Foundation, Mellanox, SnapRoute, Sonus, TELoIP, Teridion, Thousand Eyes, Viptela, and Zoho among others.
Our podcasts provide a uniquely effective way to reach networking and IT professionals. Unlike web pages or video, podcasts can be enjoyed almost anywhere: during a commute, on an airplane, while working out, or even mowing the lawn.
When you market with Packet Pushers, you aim with laser precision. Your value proposition, technical innovation, or solution to a problem is delivered to our audience of decision makers, maximizing your chance to gain mind share and win a potential customer.
Consistent feedback from our sponsors is that the podcasts they make with Packet Pushers create brand awareness and generate strong leads.
Your podcast episode will leverage our subscriber base, social media, newsletters, blogs, and word of mouth to reach a large audience with a modest effort on your part. Recording a podcast requires just a few hours of your time to organize logistics, plan content, and then select and prepare speakers. It takes less than 90 minutes to record the show over the Internet–no travel or hotels necessary.
How much will this opportunity impact your budget? Less than you think. Contact us for a quote!
Podcasts are our premier offering for sponsors, but we feature multiple products in these categories:
- Podcasts and Audio
- Written Content
- Appearances and Live Events
- Virtual Design Clinics (a regular webinar series)
Podcasts and Audio
Sponsorship of full episodes of The Weekly Show, Priority Queue, and Datanauts are available on a limited basis. Our podcasts are built around an outline we create with you to cover your marketing agenda. We’ll use the same highly technical, conversational format our audience enjoys while discussing your company and product.
Only 50% of our shows can be fully sponsored.
Like a talk radio ad spot, we run your message as a pre-roll, plus 15-60 second mid-roll in a podcast episode. Ad spots are available on any of our non-sponsored podcasts across our network, including the Network Break, Full Stack Journey, Datanauts, Weekly Show, and Priority Queue.
Note: Advance bookings are essential as most episodes are recorded weeks in advance, and slots sell quickly.
Coffee Talks are 15-minute mini-podcasts appended to the end of another podcast, such as Network Break or Datanauts. We announce your appearance at the top of the show, and thank you for being a sponsor. During the Coffee Talk interview, we can have discussions expressing thought leadership, brand awareness, product updates, and customer profiles.
Sponsored Blog Post
The Packet Pushers website features a popular community blog where network engineers share technical articles, opinion pieces, and personal experiences. We accept a limited number of sponsored blog posts where a vendor can write on a technical, audience-appropriate, and mutually agreed-upon topic. You may submit your own content or commission us to write on your behalf.
We rotate your 300×250 banner into one of our ad spots displayed in the right panel of pages at PacketPushers.net and EtherealMind.com. We use Google’s ad server platform to deliver reliable, high performance ads and world-class metrics.
Human Infrastructure Magazine is a twice-monthly newsletter written by Packet Pushers staff and guest writers, plus curated web links and commentary relevant to our technical audience. The tone of the magazine is personal, yet technical.
Advertorial and display ad placements are available.
Virtual Design Clinic – Live Stream
About Design Clinic
The Packet Pushers Virtual Design Clinic is a virtual, real-time event consisting of the Packet Pushers, practitioners, and sponsors. Its like a mini-conference without travel, hotels and bad food.
The technical design challenges and real solutions to those problems will be discussed both by vendors and practitioners from the IT community. The track will include Live Q&A, highly curated presentations from paid and sponsored speaker and podcast style discussions. Our audience joins us via a webinar platform and joins a live stream.
Sessions are professionally produced and curated to our library of content. This makes the session available to time shifters and future Ignition members.
Four events are planning for 2018 to run bi-monthly during middle of the year.
Appearances And Live Events
About Live Events
Packet Pushers can amplify your conference, trade show, or event. We create a media package to showcase your event with social media, ad spots, newsletters, and blog posts. We attend your event in person and invite our audience to join us. We keep logistics simple by making our own travel arrangements.
We can record podcasts at a conference or event where we engage your subject matter experts, or even record a podcast in front of a live audience. The published podcast will further amplify your event and messaging to a much larger audience, post-event.
Conference packages include social media exposure via our personal and brand social media accounts.
Parties & Special Events
We can assist with driving registrations and attendance at your conference parties. You can target high-level engineers and key projects influencers to meet you during your special event by having Ethan and Greg attend your event.
